Monthly investing is modelled as scheduled regular investing, not one-off dealing. Providers that make scheduled investing free no longer get penalised as if the same contribution were twelve one-off fund trades.
The model estimates next-12-month platform fees as the balance grows with each month-end contribution. It includes platform, scheduled dealing, and FX fees where relevant, and excludes fund ongoing charges, bid-offer spreads, stamp duty where applicable, and any market movement.
