The fee model is maintained by Valery Frolov. Provider fees are taken from public pricing pages, translated into calculator assumptions, and listed below with the last verification date. Corrections can be sent through LinkedIn with the provider name and source URL.
Calculation method
What is included
The calculator uses publicly available provider pricing pages and applies them to the user-entered current balance, monthly contribution, investment type, and US-stock FX assumption. It estimates annual platform or account fees, modelled monthly dealing fees, and FX conversion fees where those fees are exposed by the provider pricing model.
Percentage platform fees are calculated against the entered fund and share/ETF values. Flat subscriptions and monthly minimums are annualised. Tiered platform and FX schedules are modelled where the tier boundaries are available. Results are sorted by estimated annual cost for the selected scenario, not by provider quality.
Exclusions
What is not included
The model deliberately excludes:
- fund OCFs
- bid/ask spreads
- transfer fees
- promotions/introductory offers unless explicitly modelled
It also excludes stamp duty, PTM levy, product-specific discounts, investment performance, cash interest, tax outcomes, account closure fees, telephone dealing, optional paid services, and non-standard negotiated terms.

The dates below show when the current fee assumptions were last checked against provider pricing pages. They are not a guarantee that the fees are still current, and they do not describe historical accuracy before this public baseline.

Caveats
Verify directly before acting
Providers can change fees, plan names, eligibility rules, transfer terms, and promotional pricing without this site noticing immediately. The calculator can also be wrong because a pricing page was misunderstood, changed, or only applies under conditions not captured by the inputs.
Treat the output as a fee-estimation aid. Always verify the current fees with the provider directly before opening or transferring an ISA.
